Fighting HIV/AIDS in Mozambique 2010-07-06 A government survey released on the 5th July 2010 estimates that nearly 12% of the Mozambican population are infected with HIV/AIDS. Prevalence was higher in the southern provinces of Maputo and Gaza, the main travel routes to neighbouring South Africa.
